Codice MORSE CW
Il Codice Morse, detto comunemente anche Alfabeto Morse, è un sistema per trasmettere lettere, numeri e segni di punteggiatura per mezzo di un segnale in codice ad intermittenza. È stato sviluppato da Alfred Vail nel 1835 durante la sua collaborazione con Samuel Morse nello sviluppo della telegrafia e completato l'8 gennaio del 1838.
Il codice Morse è una forma antelitteram di comunicazione digitale, tuttavia diversa dai moderni codici digitali binari che usano solo due stati (comunemente rappresentati con 0 e 1), il Morse infatti ne usa 5: punto (di), linea (tah), intervallo breve (tra ogni lettera), intervallo medio (tra parole) e intervallo lungo (tra frasi).
